Planned SMTP credentials will be separate from API keys. They will be revocable and scoped to projects, with a validated sender before sending.
One shared allowance
Accepted relay recipients are intended to use the same plan allowance. Switching between SMTP and API will not create another subscription or duplicate units.

Which server and port should I configure?
We are not publishing an operational SMTP endpoint yet. Do not use the API hostname as a relay: tested configuration will be announced when the service is enabled.
Will it use my personal email password?
No. The design uses IntoMailer project credentials. It does not require a personal mailbox password.
What happens to an ambiguous result?
It must be reconciled before another route is attempted. Duplicate protection still matters with SMTP. Each application’s retry behavior will also need review.
